R•Dee Winery is a family-owned, grape-to-glass winery rooted in tradition and inspired by dreams. We carefully source grapes from the regions that grow them best, crafting wines that celebrate both place and memory. Our grandfather, Richard Dee, taught us to put family first and to always chase what you love. He sparked our passion for winemaking - creating countless joyful moments around the table - and continues to inspire everything we do. One day, we hope to grow our own vineyard here in Connecticut and carry on his legacy. Until then, we invite you to pour a glass with us and create your own story.
Every detail of our winery was designed and built by hand with the help of family. From staining the ceiling and laying the floors to building the bar and adding thoughtful touches throughout the tasting room, The McAuliffe family poured their heart into every corner. The result is a warm, welcoming space where tradition meets romance—perfect for sharing wine, laughter, and conversation with the people who matter most. At R•Dee Winery, every glass tells a story. We partner with small, family-owned farms and vineyards, carefully sourcing our grapes from regions known for producing the finest fruit—including the Finger Lakes of New York, the sun-kissed vineyards of California, and the lush valleys of South Africa.
Guests can enjoy their favorites by the glass - whether a classic 6 oz. pour or a generous 9 oz. "Heavy Pour" - or by the bottle for in-house enjoyment.

R•Dee Winery is owned by Michele and Mark McAuliffe. Michele grew up here in Enfield, CT and graduated from Fermi High School. Mark grew up outside Philadelphia. We graduated from Ithaca College in New York with our doctorates in Physical Therapy and currently work in the local area during the week. We loved that we were able to go to school among the vineyards and wineries of the Finger Lakes Region. We were married here in town and reside in Enfield with our three boys!
We are blessed to be able to be part of an amazing community here in Enfield and here within Connecticut and love giving back! We have been able to donate to multiple local charity events, donations in support of the St. Bernard’s School Golf Tournament, donations and pouring at wine tasting event to support Education Resources for Children (ERfC), donations for support of Enfield Child Developmental Center and completing our yearly toy drive to support the children at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center each December.

Looking for the perfect spot to host your event?! We are the place for you! We rent our private back room for gatherings, parties, celebrations or corporate events. We serve the best of both worlds with wine, sangria and wine Slushies (seasonal) from R•Dee Winery and beer from Powder Hollow Brewery! Our guests who rent the private room can bring in their own food, or have it catered. Decorate for your event to make it special and just the way you envision it! We can create a tab service, assist with purchasing drink tickets or set up individual tabs for each guest. We are here to help you create and enjoy your perfect event!

Our Winery Tasting Room is open for all to enjoy. We will be serving traditional wine tastings at our bar.
We will also be selling wine by the glass, wine flights, and bottles to enjoy with family and friends on site or at
home.
We offer two options for tastings: traditional wine tasting or a wine flight.
Both options include 4 wines of your choice;
You also have the option to take your tasting glass home with your tasting for an additional fee.
We sell Cheese Platters at the winery, and as always you are always more then welcome to bring
in outside food to enjoy with your wine and great company.
We do not allow any outside alcoholic beverages onsite due to state law and federal regulations
but we do share a building with Powder Hollow Brewery so bring your beer drinking friends and family along to enjoy
a pint!
We accept all major forms of credit cards; VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
We do not accept checks at the tasting room.
